Hi! My name is Danielle Manfredi. This will be my 16TH year teaching at Brookside. I can't believe how quickly time has passed. It feels like just yesterday I was starting my teaching career.
I grew up in Edison, New Jersey. When I was 15, I moved with my family to Monroe. Monroe was a such fun place to live. I made many new friends here. I graduated from Monroe Township High school (now MTMS) in 2004. While in school I loved to play sports. Some of the sports I played were soccer, softball, field hockey and basketball. My favorite was softball. I have played on travel teams since I was 8 years old. As a freshman in high school, I made the varsity softball team. I was really proud of myself because the coach thought I was good enough to play with the seniors! I pursued my teaching career at the University of Delaware. After graduating in 2008, I decided I wanted to learn even more! My favorite subject is Reading/Writing. I learned all I could about language arts and acquired my masters degree in 2015 from Monmouth University. It is probably no surprise, my absolute favorite subject to teach is READING! Science is my second favorite! Here is a fun factL My husband and I were married on May 19th, 2018 (the same day a the royal wedding!). I have two children, Luca who is 3 and Gianna who is 1. You will be hearing a lot about them this year! Thanks for taking the time to learn all about me! I can't wait to learn about you! :) |
