Homework Policy:
Conduct
Good behavior is expected and important to ensure a productive learning environment. Together, our class will establish a positive class behavior management plan.
Water Bottles
Students should bring a water bottle to be kept at their desk. They will be taken home daily to be washed. Choosing a water bottle where the straw does not have to be touched to flip up and down would be best.
Snack
Students will be having a snack in the morning. Snacks must be peanut/nut free. Snack will be a working snack so, choosing a snack that is easily eaten would be best. Some options may be a peanut/nut free granola bar, a banana, apple slices, pretzels, Goldfish crackers, cereal or popcorn.
Sanitizing
Students will be washing hands throughout the day. There will be hand sanitizer in the class, but if your child prefers a hand sanitizer with a special scent, they are welcome to bring their own.

Friday Folders
- Friday folders will be sent home each week. Inside you will find all corrected classwork and tests. Please sign and return any stamped tests or assignments.
- A Friday newsletter or update will be distributed once at least once month. The newsletter will include reminders, important and dates and classroom happenings. These updates will also be posted on our class website in the "updates" section.
- Please clean out your child’s folder each week. Folders will be collected every Monday.
Homework Policy:
- If a student misses a homework assignment, a missed assignment sheet will be given to the student. This must be signed and returned the following school day WITH the completed assignment.
- If an assignment is excessively late (more than three days), it will be considered an incomplete assignment.
- 3 or more missed assignment sheets will result in consequences at the teacher’s discretion. These may include recess detention, loss of classroom privileges, disciplinary referral to the vice principal, etc.
